MEET THE TEAM: Mike Adams

Hello!

I'm Mike Adams and I joined Qubits Energy in Aug 2024 to lead the field, project development, support and software development teams.  Prior to joining Qubits, I was in commercial software development in industrial automation businesses going back to 2004, most of that time with Schneider Electric for the Power Operation product. From Rockwell Automation to Schneider and Qubits, I was lucky to have a variety of roles directly contributing to many of the different software product engineering, commercialization, field deployment and management aspects of the Power & Energy Management business, while my focus was locked on understanding users, customers and internal/external stakeholders and how best to create value for them. I'm really looking forward to working at AZZO with our project/support engineering teams and the Platform team to build game-changing solutions with AI and automation for use internally and as new commercial offers within EnergyX.

Outside of work we have a very strenuous family life with two daughters and a son: in high school, middle school and elementary.  We keep busy nearly every day of the week with competing night-time schedules for volleyball, football, swimming, piano lessons, friends, events, games, competing working hours and figuring out how we're all going to get a dinner-time meal! We enjoy one or two big trips as a family each year in the States or abroad.  With my free time I do my best to keep up with exercise, running, climbing, swimming, walking, or strength training.  I keep up with the local music scene a bit here in Nashville, though many of my favorites are your typical weeknight-level, bar room artists making it difficult to get to shows as much as I'd like!  For anyone who visits us here, please take me to lower Broadway with you! I also enjoy the piano and reading sci-fi (just finished The Three Body Problem series, super cool).
