Today, this facility is a Microgrid – producing its own sustainable, reliable energy and selling it on the open spot market for energy retailers to buy and re-sell.

The SAHMRI building was one of the first of its kind to introduce the convergence of technologies, which included a sophisticated Building Management System (BMS).

Covering almost 200,000m2 and containing over 350 businesses and services, this is one of the largest shopping precincts in the Australia, and one of the most complex projects AZZO has undertaken to date.
